The Story

The Narrow Collar Shirt from Taiga Takahashi reimagines a 1920s wing-collar silhouette through a quietly contemporary lens. The fabric is a Tupelo Madras Chambray jacquard — a cloth that gained popularity in 1930s American workwear, originating in Tupelo, Mississippi, and finished here through a degreased washer treatment for a dry, lived-in hand. Sulphur-dyed grey runs through the warp, allowing the garment to fade and shift in character over time. Metal buttons are specially treated to age gently in step with the cloth.

  • 100% cotton Tupelo Madras Chambray jacquard
  • Sulphur-dyed grey warp yarns
  • Degreased washer finish
  • Metal buttons treated to age over time
  • Narrow collar drawn from 1920s wing-collar silhouettes
  • Made in Japan
  • Elliot is 183cm and is wearing a size 15
